PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS


The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, February 21, 1995. Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance.


Present were David A. Shippy, Les Desavedo, Janet K. Evans, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Michael Maycock, County Attorney; Carol Seeger, Deputy County Attorney; Robert P. Palmer, Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the consent agenda as presented. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve a two-step merit increase for an employee at the Public Works Landfill Division effective the next pay period. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the Commissioners' Resolution authorizing the chairman of the Campbell County Commissioners to submit supplemental information in cooperation with the City of Gillette to the State of Wyoming's abandoned mine lands program for funding to replace Main Fire Station #1. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the Resolutions appointing LT Ric Paul and Michael A. Maycock to the Campbell County Community Corrections Board. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve $28,000 for construction of a new water system for Cook Road Water District. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve $2,000 for well testing and to replace a well pump for Force Road Joint Powers Board. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve $8,476.63 for radio well controls and a chlorine gas detection and alarm system for Central Campbell County Improvement and Service District. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

The meeting was adjourned at 12:00PM for lunch.

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the Wyoming Farm Loan Board Grant Agreement, #MRG-1276CL, Design Stonepile Creek Drainage Improvements, (Agreement for Government Royalty Impact Assistance Account Grant). Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the two-step merit increase for an employee in the Data Center, effective the pay period of May 21, 1995. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy motioned to approve the airport construction Coordinator salary to be paid through the Commissioners' Capital Outlay Other Account #800.7168 for the rest of this fiscal year. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve up to $6,100 from Commissioners Capital Contingency for computer equipment at the Campbell County Childrens Center. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo called for an executive session to discuss pending litigation at 2:15PM.


Chairman Shippy called the meeting back to order at 2:25.


There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 2:25PM.


The next regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 1995 at 9:00AM in the Commissioners' Chambers at the courthouse.
