PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, April 4, 1995. Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were David A. Shippy, Les Desavedo, Janet K. Evans, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Carol Seeger, Deputy County Attorney; Robert P. Palmer, Director of Administrative Services.
Absent was Michael A. Maycock, County Attorney.

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the County's participation in a project to relocate about 20,500 cubic yards of earth at the Intersection of Skyline Drive and Lakeway Road. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve that Road and Bridge complete the earthwork for the Southern Drive Project. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy motioned to approve the annual payment plan of $524.50 with the State Guarantee Trust Account to provide financial assurance for the closure of Landfill No.2 Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the Street Easement and Right-of-Way Dedication for the City of Gillette for a portion of the Old Stock Trail just north of Boxelder Road as public Right-of-Way, more particularly described as SW1/4SW1/4, Section 27, T50N, R72W, 6th P.M., Campbell County. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

A Public Hearing was held at 10:00AM to hear Case No. 95.04Z, to zone a portion of the Extended Planned District, Sections 11,12 and a part of Section 13, T49N, R72W - Section 7 and parts of Sections 8,17, and 18, T49N, R71W. Zoning for these areas will be A-L, Agriculture, M-P, Mobile Home Park, C-1, General Commercial, I-1, Light Industrial and I-2, Heavy Industrial. Chairman Shippy motioned to approve as presented with the change of the North 1/2 of SW1/4 of SE1/4, Section 11, T49N,R72W from I-1, Light Industrial, to I-2, Heavy Industrial. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

A Public Hearing was held at 10:15AM to hear the Proposed Amendments to the Zoning Regulations. Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the Proposed Amendments and Additions to the Campbell County Zoning Regulations Chapter II with the Planning commission recommendations being met. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the Project Agreement STPR-1700(13) and STPR-1700(14) for the Railroad Crossings on McKenzie Road, Dot#98836S and the Railroad Crossing on Echeta Road, Dot#98844J . Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

The Meeting was adjourned at 12:00PM for lunch.

County Attorney, Michael Maycock was present for the afternoon session.
At 1:45PM Chairman Shippy called for an executive session to discuss litigation.
Chairman Shippy called the regular meeting back to order at 3:15PM.
