The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, October 17, 1995. Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order at 9:00AM & Led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were David A. Shippy, Les Desavedo, Janet K. Evans, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Carol Seeger, Deputy County Attorney; and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.
The Following consent agenda was presented:

Line Item Transfers:
Public Library - Transfer $125 from 713.6235, General Maintenance, to 711.6751, Vehicle Repairs.

Commissioner Desavedo moved to approve the Certificate of Purchase 10751 from Darlene Johnson. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans moved to approve the Resolution for the Recision of Open Burning Restrictions effective 6:00PM, Friday, October 20, 1995. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy tabled the discussion on the Grade Assignment for the Museum Director.
The Commissioners adjourned at 9:45AM for an executive session to discuss personnel.
A Public Hearing was held at 10:00AM by the Board of Commissioners, acting as the Board of Adjustment, for the review of a Special Use Permit Renewal by Wyoming Materials & Improvements, Inc.
Commissioner Evans moved to approve the Special Use Permit Renewal Case No. 95.04SUP. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo moved to approve the bid from Larry’s Inc. in the amount of $567,740.60 for the Campbell County Landfill No. 1 Final Cover. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy moved to approve the Resolution for New Road Names/County Address System. The following new names were added to the County-wide address system: Rafter Star Road, Rattlesnake Road, Simpson Lane, located in the Silvia Newton Survey, and Duffy Road, Meister Road and Noonan Road, located in the Cosner Property. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

A petition was presented to the County Commissioners by a group of senior citizens requesting that the County Commissioners take over the operation of the Senior Citizen Center.
The Board adjourned at 11:20AM for executive session regarding ongoing litigation.
The Board reconvened into a regular session at 1:30PM.
Present for the afternoon session was Michael Maycock, County Attorney; absent was Carol Seeger, Deputy County Attorney.
The Commissioners requested that new bids be submitted for the Campbell County Recreation Center Pool Locker Room Remodel Project. Only two (2) bids were original submitted, with both bids exceeding the projected budget.
Commissioner Desavedo moved to approve the low bid from Lariat International Trucks for the purchase of one truck with a manual transmission in the amount of $79,153.00 and a second truck with an automatic transmission in the amount of $89,818.00. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

The Courthouse will be closed, November 10, 1995 in observance of Veteran’s Day, and November 23, 1995 for Thanksgiving.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Commissioner, the meeting adjourned at 3:00PM. The next regular meeting of the Commissioners will be Tuesday, November 7, 1995, in the Commissioners’ Chambers at the courthouse.
