The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, November 21, 1995. Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order at 9:00AM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were David A. Shippy, Les Desavedo, Janet K. Evans, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Michael A. Maycock, County Attorney; and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the low bid from Buckeye Construction in the amount of $59,900.96, for the Road and Bridge remodeling project. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the transfer of $39,000 from the Commissioners Capital Contingency account for the Parks & Recreation pool locker room remodel project. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy motioned to approve the transfer of $28,000 from 020.7173.99, Park Improvements, to 083.7271.16, Sauna Repair-Park & Recreation for the pool remodel project. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the low bid from L&T Fabrication in the amount of, $182,730 for the County Pool Locker Room remodel project. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy motioned to approve the Commissioners’ Resolution to Vacate the Portion of Reno County Road, commencing at the northwest corner of Section 10, T42N, R70W, in Campbell County, Wyoming, running thence approximately 2.1 miles east, and terminating at the eastern edge of Section 11, T42N, R70W, in Campbell County, Wyoming. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to appoint Harry R. Underwood as Viewer for the vacation of Reno County Road. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve $7,710.14 from the District Support Grant Program for McKenney Improvement & Service District to be used for the remaining costs to tie-in the water system at Northland Village. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy motioned to approve $1,500 from the District Support Grant Program for Central Campbell County Improvement & Service District to be used for the implementation of the second year of their pavement management system. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion for discussion. After discussion Chairman Shippy rescinded his motion, and Commissioner Desavedo rescinded his second.
Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve $41,755 for Central Campbell County Improvement & Service District. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy motioned to approve the signing of the Letter of Agreement between the Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Preventive Medicine, and the Campbell County Health Department. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

The Commissioners held a workshop on vehicle bidding.
The Commissioners adjourned for lunch at 11:50AM and reconvened at 1:30PM.
Commissioner Evans motioned to sign the letter in Support and Sponsorship of the State Systems Development Initiative Grant application that will be submitted by the Campbell County PATCH Coalition. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

The Commissioners adjourned to an executive session at 1:40PM for potential litigation and reconvened into regular session at 1:55PM.
Commissioner Evans motioned to approve Case No. 95.03COSP, Item: Amended Plat - Bill Suedkamp, Resubdivision Lot 4. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

There being no further business to come before the Board of Commissioners, the meeting adjourned at 3:20PM. The next regular meeting of the Commissioners will be Tuesday, December 5, 1995 at 9:00AM in the Commissioners’ Chambers at the courthouse.
