The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session, Tuesday, February 4, 1997. Chairman Desavedo called the meeting to order at 9:00AM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were Jan Evans, Fred L. Oedekoven, Les Desavedo, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Carol Seeger, Deputy County Attorney; and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.
The following amended consent agenda was presented:

LINE ITEM TRANSFERS:

Chairman Desavedo motioned to approve the amended consent agenda as presented. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the Hladky Construction Alternate #3 and 4 bid in the amount of $171,364 for the Splashdown Pool. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. Commissioner Evans amended her motion to include Alternate #2. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the amended motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the Medical Plan Document Amendment relating to the definition of Usual, Customary and Reasonable (UCR) and the UCR database. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve upto $895 from Commissioners Capital Contingency to purchase a new typewriter for the Public Health Department. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve upto $300 from Commissioners Contingency to help sponsor Literacy Volunteer’s Adult Spelling Bee. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to remove the following motion “To Cease Rapport Training for Campbell County” from the table. Chairman Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to amend his original motion to include “Paying For” after the word “Cease.” Chairman Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to remove the Public Hearing on Sunburst #4, Tract E, tabled at the January 7th Commissioner’s Meeting, from the table. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to continue the Public Hearing on Sunburst #4, Tract E, until March 4, 1997. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

The Commissioners adjourned for lunch at 11:15AM and reconvened at 1:30PM.
Commissioner Evans motioned to approve upto $131,918, from Commissioners Capital Contingency to purchase two rural squad units and equipment, for the Fire Department. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
