The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, February 6, 1996. Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order at 9:00AM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were David A. Shippy, Les Desavedo, Janet K. Evans, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Carol Seeger, Deputy County Attorney; and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.
The following consent agenda was presented:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve $226,580 from 013.7538 to purchase equipment recommended by the Campbell County Fire Department for their Rural Response Program. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve Norton Construction’s bid for $150,000 for the Gillette Campus Roof Repairs, with funding to come first from the Community College and the balance to be paid by the County. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to accept the bid from Machine Products in the amount of $24,342.32 for prefabricated cattleguards for the Southern Drive Project. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to accept the bid from Wyoming Concrete in the amount of $160,781.90 for reinforced concrete pipe for the Southern Drive Project. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to accept the bids from CISCO in the amount of $42,197.76, and $15,314.96 for corrugated steel pipe and stock pass materials for the Southern Drive Project. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve $32,619 from Commissioners Capital Contingency for payment to Ruby Drilling for the Bell Nob Well Project. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

A Public Hearing was held at 10:15AM for the purpose of reviewing a rezoning request to rezone the proposed Los Caballos Subdivision, a tract of land legally described as the SW1/4SE1/4, Section 13, T50N, R72W, N1/2NE1/4 Section 24, T50N, R72W, from C-1, General Commercial and I-1, Light Industrial, to R-R, Rural Residential.
Commissioner Evans motioned to approve Case No: 96.01Z, Item: Rezoning Request - Rezone Proposed Los Caballos Subdivision from C-1, General Commercial and I-1, Light Industrial to R-R, Rural Residential, contingent upon the plat being recorded. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
