The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, March 5, 1996. Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order at 9:00AM and let the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were David A. Shippy, Les Desavedo, Janet K. Evans, Commissioners; Teresa M. Blackford, Deputy County Clerk; Michael A. Maycock, County Attorney; and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the consent agenda as presented and amended. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Marcia Wright with the Campbell County Public Library was given approval by consensus of the County Commissioners to fill two positions and the Public Library that are included in the current budget.
Chairman Shippy moved to approve the Agreement For County Road Right-Of-Way Dedication between Campbell County and Fred’s Insulation Service, Inc. along Southern Drive. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-aye Carried.
Commissioner Desavedo moved to approve the Joint Account Agreement between Campbell County, First Interstate Bank and Cundy Asphalt Paving & Construction Inc. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-aye Carried.
Commissioner Desavedo moved to approve a Resolution of Support for RENEW to file an application with the Wyoming Community Development Block Grant Program for a Housing Program Grant in the amount of $150,000.00. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted - aye Carried.
Chairman Shippy moved to recommend up to $20,000 for a District Support Grant applied for by Prairie View/Champion Ventures Improvement and Service District, to be used for grading and drainage only. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans moved to add Dana Thorne to the Campbell County Local Emergency Planning Committee, her name had been left off the initial list in error. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo moved to approve the Plan Document Amendment to the Campbell County Medical Benefit Plan Document. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-aye Carried.
Commissioner Desavedo moved to approve $637 from Commissioners Capital Contingency for an employee at the Childrens Center to attend a J.D. Edwards Training Seminar. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-aye Carried.
At 11:10AM the Commissioners adjourned into an executive session to discuss possible litigation.
The Commissioners adjourned for lunch at 11:45AM and reconvened into regular session at 1:30PM.
