Chairman Shippy called for a Special Meeting, August 27, 1996 at 3:00PM.

Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order. Present were David Shippy, Les Desavedo, Jan Evans, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Michael Maycock, County Attorney; and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to place, as presented by the County Attorney, the Resolution Calling For An Election To Decide Whether The Campbell County Recreation Center Should Be Expanded, on the General Election Ballot. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. After discussion, Commissioner Desavedo amended his motion to be, the Approval of the Resolution. Chairman Shippy seconded the amendment. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy - NayFailed.

Chairman Shippy adjourned the meeting at 4:20PM.
