The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, October 1, 1996. Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order at 9:00AM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were David A. Shippy, Les Desavedo, Jan Evans, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Michael Maycock, County Attorney; and Bryn Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.
The following amended consent agenda was presented:
One Day Malt Beverage Permits - Means Beverage, September 28 & 29, 1996, WY/ NE Rodeo Finals at Camplex East Pavilion.

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the amended consent agenda. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve up to $2,900 from Commissioners Capital Contingency for the purchase of two Burlington Route (CB&Q) wooden cattle cars and one Burlington Route (CB&Q) wooden boxcar for the Rockpile Museum, contingent upon all aspects of the project being completed. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Chairman Shippy motioned to approve the District Support Grant request from Wessex Improvement and Service District in the amount of $1,870 for road improvements. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the signing of the Warranty on the Improvements accepted as complete and warrantee to be effective for one year on Stone Gate Estates Phase II and IV. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the signing of the Warranty for Stone Gate Estates Phase III. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the low bid from Hladky Construction in the amount of $43,140 for the Rockpile Ice Barn Rink Slab project. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the low bid from Cundy Asphalt Paving Construction in the amount of $94,797.55 for the Gillette Campus Parking Lot Reconstruction, Phase II project. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to set the fee schedule for bulk tire dumping at the Landfill, to be $50 per ton when they are sorted and stacked, and $100 per ton when they are not. Commissioner Desavedo seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

A Public Hearing was held at 10:00AM by the Board of Commissioners acting as the Board of Adjustment, for the review of an application for a Special Use Permit. The request is to continue the use of a 18,000 gallon storage propane tank above ground on lot 18e, Champion Ventures Industrial Subdivision.
Commissioner Desavedo excused himself, due to a conflict of interest.
Commissioner Evans motioned to approve Case No. 96.05SUP, Item: Application for Special Use Permit-Lot 18e, Champion Ventures Industrial Subdivision for a three year period as per the Engineers’ recommendation. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
