The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session, Tuesday, November 5, 1996. Chairman Shippy called the meeting to order at 9:00AM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were David A. Shippy, Les Desavedo, Jan Evans, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Michael A. Maycock, County Attorney; and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve giving the Campbell County Road & Bridge Department permission to mine, crush and remove scoria on the following property owned by Campbell County: SW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 15, T51N, R72W of the 6th Principal Meridian, Campbell County, Wyoming (also known as the West 40 acres of the Campbell County Balefield). Chairman Shippy motioned to approve the low bid from Tower Construction, Inc., in the amount of $15,750 for the Public Defenders remodel project. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Desavedo motioned to approve the Resolution authorizing the modification of an application for funding from the Government Royalties Impact Assistance Account Grant, on the joint project with the City of Gillette on the Force Road Design. Chairman Shippy seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

A Public Hearing was held at 10:00AM for an application that has been made to vacate the east 40' of a 100' easement for public road, described as a strip of road easement situate in the Los Caballos Subdivision located along the west boundary of lots 13 through 20.
