The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, September 23, 1997. Chairman Desavedo called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were Jan Evans, Fred L. Oedekoven, Les Desavedo, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Michael Maycock, County Attorney, and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.
The following consent agenda was presented:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the consent agenda as presented. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the Partial Release of retainage to Hladky Construction for the Campbell County Airport Terminal project. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-Aye Carried.
Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the Notice of Contract for the Right-of-Way for
Garner Lake Road extension signed by Thomas V. Simons on August 8, 1997. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-Aye Carried.
Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the Proclamation for Domestic Violence Awareness Week of October 1 through October 7, 1997. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-Aye Carried.
Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the Partial Release of Retainage to Pete Lein & Sons, d.b.a. Dakota Steel & Supply for the Campbell County Airport Terminal Steel project. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-Aye Carried.
The Commissioners adjourned into an executive session to discuss ongoing litigation at 11:55 AM and then broke for lunch. The Board reconvened into regular session at 1:30 PM.
Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to uphold the ruling of the Board of Appeals and to allow the Mills an additional six months to meet the requirements as outlined in the September 12th letter. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted - Aye Carried.
Commissioner Evans motioned to approve the Resolution declaring Campbell County, Wyoming an Agri-Business Disaster Area. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-Aye Carried.
Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve $600.00 from the Commissioner Contingency to upgrade the Call Collection System for the Public Works Department. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted-Aye Carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Commissioners, the meeting was adjourned at 3:00 PM. The next regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners will be held Tuesday, October 7, 1997 at 9:00 AM in the Commissioners Chambers of the courthouse.
