The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, June 6, 2000. Chairman Evans called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Commissioner Weakly led in prayer and Chairman Evans led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were Janet K. Evans, Fred L. Oedekoven, Alan Weakly, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Mike Fuller, County Attorney, and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the Automated Clearing House agreement between Campbell County and First National Bank of Gillette. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to change the approved Year 2000 late Sunday openings for Campbell County liquor establishments by deleting the County Fair, August 13th date, and substituting New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2000. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve spending up to $2,150 from Capital Contingency for a server at the Campbell County Airport. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the bid in the amount of $105,848.35 from Cundy Asphalt for reconstruction work on Warlow Drive. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the Resolution Increasing Compensation for election judge compensation. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to spend up to $3,612.79 from Commissioners Capital Contingency for a computer and software for the Fair Board. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the resolution designating the following polling place changes:
4-J School for District 13, Precinct 1
Cam-Plex Energy Hall for District 8, Precinct 1
Moore Residence for District 17, Precinct 1

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to ratify the FAA Airport Improvement Program agreement to acquire snow removal equipment which was signed by Chairman Evans on May 31, 2000. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

The Commissioners adjourned into an executive session at 9:15 AM for personnel and reconvened at 9:45 AM.
A Public Hearing was held at 9:45 AM for the purpose of hearing a request to zone the proposed Green Valley Subdivision, Second filing as R-R, Rural Residential.
Commissioner Weakly motioned approve Case 00.10COZ to zone Green Valley Second Filing, Lots 1,2, and 3, R-R, Rural Residential and Lots 4 and 5, R-1, Single Family Dwelling District upon filing of the subdivision plat. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted - Aye Carried.
A Public Hearing was held at 10:00 AM to review a request from Craig and Deborah Mader to rezone approximately 293 acres from A-L, Agricultural, to R-S, Residential Suburban in Sections 31 and 32, T50N, R72W and Section 6, T49N, R72W, for the proposed Spring Hill Ranch Subdivision.
Commissioner Oedekoven motioned approve Case 00.10COZ, upon filing of the plat, to rezone approximately 293 acres in Section 31 and 32, T50N, R72W and Section 6, T49N, R72W included in the proposed Spring Hill Ranch Subdivision. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

The Public Hearing that was scheduled for 10:30AM that was continued from May 2, 2000 on a rezoning request was withdrawn by the petitioner.
The Commissioners adjourned into an executive session at 10:20 AM for personnel and reconvened at 10:45 AM.
A Public Hearing was held at 10:45 AM to review a request from Wesley J. Traeholt to rezone 4.634 acres from R-R, Rural Residential to M-H, Mobile Home in Section 11, T50N, R72W.
Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve Case 00.03SUP to allow placement of a second mobile home dwelling unit on Lot 3, Wrangler Estates, for as long as Mr. Traeholt has ownership of the lot. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

At 10:45AM County Attorney, Mike Fuller excused himself from the meeting.
