The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Monday, September 18, 2000. Chairman Evans called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Pastor Darrell Tidwell led in prayer and Chairman Evans led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present were Janet K. Evans, Fred L. Oedekoven, Alan Weakly, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Mike Fuller, County Attorney and Bryn N. Stewart, Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to re-appoint Nancy Ratcliff to the 6th Judicial District Child Support Authority Board. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the settlement agreement signed by Chairman Evans on September 12, 2000 between Study Auction and Campbell County for the county auction. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the lease agreement between Campbell County and Razor City BMX Board of Directors. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to appoint Mike Fuller to the Employee Recognition Committee. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motioned. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve the Job Classification recommendations of the personnel committee as presented. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to accept the George Amos carpet bid in the amount of $8,104 from Westside Carpet One and to allow the County Engineer to sign the contracts and change orders. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to accept the George Amos painting bid in the amount of $6,334.50 from Spectrum Painting and to allow the County Engineer to sign the contracts and change orders. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to accept the George Amos HVAC bid in the amount of $68,008 from Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. and to allow the County Engineer to sign the contracts and change orders. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

A Public Hearing was held at 10:00 AM for the purpose of hearing a request from Ken & Kay Riggle to temporarily utilize a recreational vehicle as a residence on Lot 12, Block 7, Oriva Hills Subdivision.
Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to approve a temporary electrical use permit not to exceed July 1, 2001 for Ken & Kay Riggle to use a Recreational Vehicle as a residence during the construction of their home. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to appoint Juanita Wesley to fill the unexpired term on the CDS-CC Board. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
All Voted - Aye Carried.
Commissioner Oedekoven motioned to appoint Kathryn LaOrange to fill the unexpired term on the Public Health Board. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Weakly motioned to spend $9,059.40 from Commissioners Contingency for the second half payment of the UW Water Study. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Weakly motioned to approve spending $747.00 from Commissioners Contingency for work on the phones in the County Assessors Office. Commissioner Oedekoven seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

There being no further business to come before the Board of Commissioners the meeting was adjourned at 11:55 AM. The next regular scheduled meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at the Commissioners’ Chambers in the courthouse.
