The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, May 7, 2002. Chairman Mader called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. Pastor Orvil Holden led in prayer and Chairman Mader led the Pledge of Allegiance.



Present were Janet K. Evans, Fred L. Oedekoven, Christopher Knapp, Alan Weakly, Craig G. Mader, Commissioners; Maxine Lieber, Deputy County Clerk; Mike D. Fuller, County Attorney, and Clint Beaver, Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Oedekoven move that the Board accept the base bid for the Highlight Road Constructions Project submitted by McMurry Ready Mix in the amount of $1,641,270.97. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Evans move that the Board accept the base bid for the Courthouse Vault Addition submitted by S&S Builders, LLC in the amount of $849,489. Commissioner Knapp seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Weakly moved that the Board accept the base bid for the Wright Library Project, including furnishing and installing an elevator, submitted by Michael's Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,284,500. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

All Voted - Aye Carried.



A Public Hearing was held at 10:00 AM for the purpose of hearing a rezoning request for proposed Southern Buttes Subdivision W1/2NE1/4, Section 7, T49N, R72, from A-L, Agricultural to R-R Rural Residential.



Commissioner Oedekoven moved that the Board approve case 02.04COZ to rezone that portion of Section 7, T49N, R72W, lying within the proposed Southern Butte Subdivision from A-L Agricultural to R-R Rural Residential upon filing of a final subdivision plat. Commissioner Knapp seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven moved that the Board increase the reimbursement mileage rate to 36.5 cents per mile starting July 1st for the 2002 - 2003 budget year. Commissioner Weakly seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven moved that the Board approve the purchase of a laptop computer for the Commissioners in the amount of $1,710.94 from the Commissioner's Capital Contingency Account. Commissioner Knapp seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Commissioner Oedekoven moved that the Board approve the purchase of a network server, in the amount of $3,720.41 from the Commissioner's Capital Contingency Account. Commissioner Evans seconded the motion. The Board was polled:
