The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday, July 2, 2002. Chairman Mader called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. Pastor Bessie Wiggs led in prayer and Chairman Mader led the Pledge of Allegiance.



Present were Janet K. Evans, Fred L. Oedekoven, Chris Knapp, Alan Weakly, Craig G. Mader, Commissioners; Susan F. Saunders, County Clerk; Jim Schermetzler, Deputy County Attorney, and Clint Beaver, Director of Administrative Services.

A Public Hearing was held at 10:30 AM for the purpose of hearing a request from Robert and LaDonna Hatch for a variance from the front and side yard setbacks for Lot 2, Rawhide Subdivision to allow a garage to be constructed facing the front of the lot on Kluver Road.

Commissioner Weakly moved that the Board approve the contract with the Wyoming Department of Health for an emergency shelter grant in the amount of $24,195, for federal FY 2002, as presented. Commissioner Knapp seconded the motion. The Board was polled:

Notice is hereby given, that a public hearing on the proposed budget for CAMPBELL COUNTY for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2003, which is now being considered by the Board of County Commissioners will be held in Courtroom #1 at the Campbell County Courthouse, 500 South Gillette Ave., Gillette, Wyoming, on the 15th day of July, 2002, at seven o'clock P.M., at which time any and all persons interested may appear and offer written and/or oral comments regarding such budget.
