Breakfast Workshop

The Campbell County Board of Commissioners met for a Breakfast Workshop, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 7:00 AM.

Present were Amir Sancher, Dan Coolidge, Roy Edwards, Chris Knapp and Craig Mader, Commissioners; Maxine Lieber, Deputy County Clerk; Robert Palmer, Commissioners Administrative Director, and Jackie Clough, Senior Administrative .Assistant.

The Commissioners gave their Board Liaison reports, reviewed the upcoming calendar of events and discussed the agenda items for the October 16, 2007 regular meeting.

Commissioner Coolidge moved to approve a hand warrant to the Campbell County Senior Center in the amount of $73,894.00 for contract for services, as presented. Commissioner Edwards seconded the motion.

            All Voted - Aye                                                                Carried.

The Commissioners directed Robert Palmer, Administrative Director to instruct ITS to donate retired county cell phones to the Cooperative Extension Office.

The Commissioners instructed Robert Palmer, Administrative Director to draft a letter to DEQ, communicating their concerns for RV Parks and base camps.

The consensus of the Board was to fund the Campbell County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) at the current annual level of $45,000.00.

There being no further discussion the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 AM. The next scheduled Breakfast Workshop will be held November 1, 2007 at 7:00 AM.
