The Department's staff of four serves as a resource for all the departments and agencies in Campbell County. We coordinate and administer all employee benefit plans including the flexible spending plan, employee classification and compensation program, and the performance appraisal program. We continue to strive and enhance training opportunities for employees through coordination of training programs including: Right-to-Know, Productive Work Environment, Defensive Driving, Generations in the Workforce, and Violence in the Workplace. Promoting safety continues to be a priority for the Department.

Our goal is to support the County's most valuable resource - its employees.

Campbell County Safety Awards

The Campbell County Safety Committee handed out safety awards for 2007 to departments with no lost time accidents. Twenty-four departments received awards for their commitment to safety. Seventeen of those departments received their 5 year safety jackets. Other departments received gold bucks.

The Detention Officers, Health Care, Animal Control, Office Personnel, Dispatch, Maintenance and Custodial Divisions of the Sheriff's Office received their 2nd year safety award for no lost time accidents. Congratulations to those divisions of the Sheriff's Office!	The CAM-PLEX received their 4th year Safety Awards. Way to Go CAM-PLEX!
