Detention Center Video Visitation

The Campbell County Detention Center provides a video visitation system for inmates and their visitors, called Visimate. This system provides real time video and audio communication between inmates and visitors.  Any inmate can be connected to any visitor. The visitor center is located in the front of the jail facility.  There are 6 visitation ports. All stations are wheelchair accessible.  Inmates have access to 8 ports within the facility.  Campbell County is the second county in the state to provide video visitation.

Morning Hours..............8:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.
Afternoon Hours..........12:00 p.m. -  4:15 p.m.
Evening Hours..............6:30 p.m. -   9:45 p.m.

All visitors must be eighteen (18) years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the visit. Visitors under 18 years of age can only visit with adult immediate family members.

All visitors must have valid identification which includes a photograph. (If no photo ID is available, a birth certificate can be used.

A maximum of two (2) visitors will be allowed in the visiting room at one time, excluding small children.

Visits will be a maximum of thirty (30) minutes long.

Inmates are allowed a maximum of one (1) visit per day.

Contact visits will be approved on a case by case basis and are limited to one per month. Contact visits are limited to the inmate’s own children, ten (10) years of age and under ONLY.

Money and property will be accepted for inmates during visiting hours.
