Sheriff William H. “Bill” Pownall

Sheriff Pownall graduated from the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy in 1975.   He has been employed with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office since November of 1976.  He is a certified professional peace officer in Wyoming and a lifetime member of the Wyoming Peace Officers Association.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office provides professional, effective and efficient law enforcement, detention and administrative services to the citizens of Campbell County by exercising sound management, emphasizing customer service and providing opportunity for continuous staff improvement.
