Children’s Immunization clinics are held every Wednesday at the Public Health Office from 8:00 - 11:30 am, and on the first Wednesday of the month from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. No appointment necessary. Please be sure to bring a current copy of your child’s immunization reccord. Immunizations are given in Wright at the Wright Clinic on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. (Jan, March, May, July, Sept and Nov). What to bring to your Immunization visit
INFANT IMMUNIZATIONS
Immunizations for infants are given at: 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, and 12 - 15 months of age. As recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). If your infant is behind schedule for immunization bring in your records and we can make them current. CHILDHOOD IMMUNIZATIONS
Children ages 4-6 years of age require immunizations before entering Kindergarten. Kindergarten immunizations can be give before Kindergarten registration as long as your child is at least four years old. SCHOOL-AGE IMMUNIZATIONS
Children ages 11-12 years require immunizations before entering 7th grade. Gardasil Vaccinations are now available for girls 9 through 18 years of age. There is no charge for immunizations for children ADULT IMMUNIZATIONS
Adult immunization includes tetanus, it is administered during clinics, on a drop-in basis, and during special clinics such as Health Fair. Adults need:

World Travel vaccinations are given by appointment. Vaccines required when traveling abroad depend upon the area that is to be visited. Please call ahead to set up an appointment, and find out what vaccinations are recommended. You can also visit the Center For Disease Control web site to find out what vaccines are required / recommended for your destination as well as other helpful travel health tips. CDC Traveler’s Health Web Site Campbell County Health Department is a Yellow Fever Vaccination site. You can call the Public Health office, or check the CDC’s web site to see if Yellow Fever vaccination is required for your travel destination. Flu shots are available at Public Health every Flu season. Flu season generally starts mid October through April and May. Flu vaccine can be given at six months of age. The CDC now recommends that children as well as adults recieve flu vaccination yearly. Call for fees associalted with Flu shots |
