IMMUNIZATIONS
Immunizations are free of charge to children 18 and under. They are given at the Public Health office each Wednesday from 8:00 to 11:30 am, and on the first Wednesday of the month from 4:00 to 7:00 pm . No appointment necessary. Immunizations are given in Wright at the Wright Clinic on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. (Jan, March, May, July, Sept and Nov) CHILDREN'S SPECIAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES
CSH provides payment for services for eligible high-risk pregnant women, newborns, and children with special health care needs. The purpose of the program is to identify clients, assure diagnosis and treatment and provide tracking and care coordination using a family-centered , community-based approach. Clients must be financially eligible and have a qualifying medical diagnosis. DENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Dental Health Services provides financial assistance for eligible children up to age 19 who need dental and orthodontia care. This service is based on the care needed and financial eligibility. Stop by the Public Health office to get an application. ADDITIONAL CHILDREN'S SERVICES
Home visits are provided for children with health needs. A Public Health Nurse provides school health services at the Children’s Developmental Center of Campbell County. SPECIALTY CLINICS
Referrals to specialty clinics sponsored by the State Health Department, such as the: cardiology, cleft palate, genetics and neurology clinics. Local special clinics are held, including glucose screening and flu clinics. Nurses also participate in the Health Fair and provide First Aid at the Campbell County Fair. |
