Curriculum
Children’s Developmental Services uses Creative Curriculum to ensure a high quality experience for young children. Creative Curriculum is research based, follows developmentally appropriate practices and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) recommendations. The key building blocks for this curriculum focus on:

  • How children develop and learn
  • The family’s role
  • The learning environment
  • The teacher’s role
  • What children learn
A set of 38 goals and objectives guides the teacher's planning in providing opportunities for each child to actively explore and learn at their own developmental level.

The classroom consists of four teachers, an Early Childhood Instructor, an Early Intervention Instructor, and two Instructional Assistants. The teacher to child ratio follows NAEYC guidelines.
