Meetings are open to the public and can be viewed live on Gillette Public Access' Government Channel 192. Meetings are also streamed live and available on demand. Citizens may address the Board of Commissioners to express matters of interest or concern. The Campbell County Commissioners hold a work session the Thursday preceding its regular business meeting to receive information briefings and presentations. The work sessions are held at 8 a.m. in the Commissioners Chambers located on the main level of the Campbell County Courthouse. At the work sessions, the Commissioners discuss board liaison reports, departmental items on the agenda for regular business meetings and asks questions of county staff relating to agenda items. Work sessions are open to the public.
Throughout the year, the Board of Commissioners holds public hearings to give citizens an opportunity to comment on current issues involving the County. All public hearings are advertised and placed on the Commissioners agenda for public comment.
