Holidays & Sick Time
The following are paid holidays per year for the calendar year of 2018-2019:
- Vacation accrual
- 1-4 years, 12 days per year or 250 hours per year
- 5-9 years, 17 days per year
- 10-14 years, 22 days per year
- 15-19 years, 24.5 days per year
- 20-24 years, 27 days per year
- 25+ years, 29.5 days per year
The Medical Benefit Plan is self-insured, self-funded by Campbell County government. Premiums are currently 100% paid by the county for regular, eligible employees who work 40 hours per week and are enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) option; eligible employees who work 40 hours per week and are enrolled in the Low Deductible Health Plan (LDHP) option will pay a share of the premium based on their tier of enrollment; employees working 30-40 hours per week will pay a pro-rated premium based on their elected health plan option and tier of enrollment. Those working 20-29 hours per week may participate at their own cost.
The Dental Benefit Plan is self-insured, self-funded by Campbell County government. Employee premiums are based on the option of health plan enrollment and tier of enrollment. Premiums are prorated for employees working 30-40 hours per week. Those working 20-29 hours per week may participate at their own cost.
Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance is provided by a third party insurance company. There is no premium charged to benefit eligible employees for Basic Life and AD&D. Employee Basic Life coverage is equal to one times annual salary rounded up to the nearest thousand, to a maximum of $50,000. Dependent coverage is equal to $2,000. Employee AD&D is equal to the amount of Basic Life coverage. Supplemental life insurance is available for employee and dependents at the employee's expense.
Supplemental Life Insurance
Supplemental Life Insurance may be purchased by the employee for themselves and their spouse to maximum of $500,000 for employee and $250,000 for the spouse.
Long-Term Disability Insurance is provided by a third party insurance company. Benefit for eligible, qualifying employees is 60% of monthly earnings to a maximum of $5,000 per month, less any other benefit received. Benefits are subject to a 180-day elimination period.
Flexible Benefits Plan allows employees to contribute pretax dollars for health, dependent care, and vision care expenses and when applicable, premiums.
Retirement is provided through the Wyoming Retirement System. Currently for the Public Employees Pension Plan and the Law Enforcement Pension Plan, both the employee and the employer contribution is funded by Campbell County. The plan is a defined benefit pension plan, and employees must be classified as regular employees, working at least 20 hours per week to be eligible to participate. Optional vision insurance is provided by Vision Service Plan. Employees pay 100% of the premium.
Employee Assistance Plan is provided by the county for all regular employees working at least 20 hours a week. The service is free and confidential.
Eligible employees and their spouse may continue their medical coverage by paying 100% of the premium. The employees age plus years of Campbell County service must equal at least eighty-five (85).
