Master Gardener

Master Gardener Class 

: Learn - Give - Grow - Join

Starts February 18th, 2017
Master Gardener trainees receive educational training in Horticulture from University of Wyoming Extension Educators and learn about Botany, Soils, Flowers, Trees, Shrubs, Lawns, Vegetables, Fruits, Entomology, Pesticide Safety, and Diagnosing Plant Problems. After completing the training Master Gardeners are asked to give back 40 hours of volunteer service to their community. This can include hands-on workshops, farmers markets, community gardens, plant sales, garden walks and more!

Master Gardener PreOrder Tree Sale

Bare-root trees, shrubs, perennials, and vines can be purchased in lots of 25, 30, and 5. This is great for areas that need a large number of trees. This is also great for splitting orders with family, friends, and neighbors. Deadline for all orders is March 31st, 2017 and pick up will be May 4th from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Rockpile Community Center Ice Arena. The earlier you turn in your order the better, as some selections may become out of stock. Click Here for the 2017 Order Form.   

​Master Gardener Individual Seedling Tree Sale

Bare-root trees, shrubs and perennials can be purchased on May 5th, 2017. Prices range from $4.00 to $30.00 each. This will be at the Rockpile Community Center Ice Arena from 7am to 4pm. For the list of trees, shrubs and perennials click here.

Garden & Landscape Educational Expo

This a free educational expo for the public to learn more about gardening and landscape in our area. There will be classes throughout the day, including hands-on and cooking classes. Held at the Cam-Plex Equality Hall on April 29th, 2017.

Gillette is now a certified Bee City USA. At the Garden & Landscape Educational Expo Gillette we will celebrating Pollinator Day. Come out and join us for fun classes and activities about pollinators.
