Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities in the treasurer's office include:
  • Accounting of the revenues and disbursements
  • Collection of sales tax and the collection of property taxes
  • Distribution of revenues received to the proper entities
  • Licensing of motor vehicles
  • Movement of mobile homes
  • Payment of bonds issues for the hospital, the school, and the county
  • Registration of mobile machinery

Campbell County Treasurer Office

Becky Brazelton was elected for County Treasurer in 2015, and has worked in the office since 1982. Since taking this position, Becky will continue to employ 13 full-time employees who share the responsibilities of the office.

By the end of June 2016, our office collected and distributed $462,841,798 to various governmental entities. The distribution of these funds is dictated by Wyoming Statutes.
