  • strives to provide a wide range of basic recommended reading and child developmental tools.
  • strives to provide titles on difficult subjects dealing with life issues.

Influencing Factors

Purchases and buying patterns are determined in large part by:
  • availability of parenting materials.
  • home schooling requests.
  • new works.
  • budget constraints.
  • visual appeal.

  • Books are withdrawn due to damage, loss, drop in general interest level as evidenced by circulation figures, or content relevancy and currency.
  • Physically worn materials are replaced or updated.
  • This collection has limited space and is seen as first step in helping parents find information with total dependence on the Adult Nonfiction collection for breadth on parenting topics.
