It is not too late to get your flu shot. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 46 states are reporting widespread influenza activity. Wyoming is one of the these states, along with our neighboring states. During the week of December 24-30, 2017, there were 1093 cases of influenza in Wyoming. Fifty-seven of those cases are in Campbell County. Flu season typically runs through April. Flu vaccine is still widely available in our community. Public Health has vaccine for both adults and children over the age of 6 months. The cost of the vaccine is $25. We will bill your insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. We highly recommend receiving the flu vaccine opposed to getting the flu. If you have questions please call Campbell County Public Health at 307-682-7275.
