Happy National Library Week (NLW)! This year’s theme is Welcome to Your Library and Campbell County Public Library (CCPL) and Wright Branch Library (WBL) are joining the national celebration of libraries April 4-10.

All Week at your libraries in Gillette and Wright
Overdue Fine Forgiveness (up to $10) and free replacement library cards.
Grab and Go Craft Kits: Canning Jar Bird Feeders: Kits available at CCPL and WBL April 1 while supplies last.
Photo Challenge: Check out our Facebook page for a new photo challenge each day of the week. At the end of the week, names of everyone who posted photos will be entered into a gift card drawing, thanks to The Library Foundation.
Community Scavenger Hunts: Pick up clues at your libraries in Gillette and Wright. Once you’ve solved the puzzle, return it to your library to be entered into a drawing.

Campbell County Master Gardeners present Seeds and Trees: Saturday, April 10, 10am-2pm • The public is invited to this free class. Details inside. Call 687.0009 to sign up.
The Library Foundation 10th Annual Cupcake Wars • This event is not open to the public.
•Two competitions: Virtual Non-Edible Materials, In-Person Edible • Two divisions: Adult and Junior (under 18)
•Prizes: $75 Gold Bucks awarded to overall winners in each category and division
•To enter the non-edible competition: Email photos of your cupcakes to library@ccpls.org by Sunday, April 4 • Non-edible cupcakes judged via Facebook

Children • Puppet Shows and Rainbow Fish at all children’s story programs. Rainbow Fish, Marcus Pfister’s book character, will visit all week following the puppet shows. Check the calendar for program times. Rainbow Fish will also be at a special evening puppet show on Thursday, April 8 at 6:30pm.
Tweens (grades 3-6) are invited to stop by CCPL Saturday, April 10 between 2pm and 4pm for a LEGO Building Challenge and to pick up a Take-Home Houdini Escape Room Kit.
Teens (grades 7-12) are welcome to the Teen Room Monday-Thursday for teen clubs and Saturday for open-play gaming.
