"America in the Great War" Presentation and Discussion

Thursday, January 17, 2019

World War One ended on "the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" in 1918 with the signing of an armistice. A formal state of war between the two sides persisted for another seven months, until the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919. Join us 100 years later on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. as Gillette resident and military historian, Command Sgt. Major Greg Bennick (Ret.) will present his research and lead a discussion of America's role in the Great War and how it forever changed our country. This event is FREE and open to the public.
