Lithics, Leather, and Landscapes
Friday, July 19, 2019
You are invited to “Lithics, Leather, and Landscapes” at the Campbell County Rockpile Museum on July 19th at 7 p.m. The Rockpile Museum Association’s summer intern, Molly Huisingh, will give a presentation about her experience working for the last two months in Collections at the Rockpile Museum.
The internship program is supported by the Rockpile Museum Association and funded by various local donors. Molly was selected from a group of national candidates. She is currently attending University of Michigan pursuing a degree in Anthropology, with a minor in Museum Studies. Through photographing lithics, inventorying framed artifacts, updating exhibits, and cataloging objects with museum collections software, Molly has developed a deeper understanding of local history as well as a broad range of skills that she can build upon as she progresses in her career.
Light refreshments will be provided.
