[ARCHIVED] 21st Amendment Day History Pub Event

Farewell 18th Amendment

Rockpile Museum to host 21st Amendment Day History Pub Event

The Campbell County Rockpile Museum and Pizza Carrello invites the public to join us on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 6-8pm in the Museum Annex Building as we celebrate the repeal of prohibition with a taste of history. On December 5, 1933 the 18th Amendment prohibiting alcohol use and sales was repealed when the 21st Amendment was ratified.

Pizza Carrello will be catering hors d'oeuvres and serving Prohibition Era drinks from the Rockpile Museum’s Saloon and Bar Exhibit. The entire evening will feature Sheridan Beer by Black Tooth Brewing Company and Mr. Mark Demple, a great-grandson of one of the co-founders of Sheridan Brewing Company will be on hand to present about the history of Sheridan Brewing Co. & Prohibition in Wyoming.

Guests are encouraged to dress in Prohibition Era attire. The Social Hour will begin at 6pm in the Campbell County Rockpile Museum’s Annex Building to be followed immediately at 7pm with Mr. Demple’s presentation.

For more information call the museum at (307) 682-5723.
