County Libraries Hours and Services

Campbell County Public Library and Wright Branch Library reopening on a limited basis on Monday, May

Phase 2: Extended Patron Access (June 22, 2020)
(Continued stabilized infection rates demonstrated for a minimum of two weeks)
In an effort to continue to do our part to reduce the risk of sharing COVID-19 in your libraries, Campbell County Public Library (CCPL)  and Wright Branch Library (WBL) will follow national library guidelines and advice from public health officials and stage a phased reopening with limited services and hours.
Note: The following information is current starting June 22, 2020. We are closely monitoring the situation and are updating plans as necessary. Please check back for the most up-to-date information.

Hours of operation
Campbell County Public Library    
    Monday-Thursday: 9am-7pm        
    Friday, Saturday: 9am-5pm        
Wright Branch Library
    Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 10am-7pm
    Wednesday, Friday: 10am-5pm
    Saturday: 10am-2pm

In-library patron access
Patron limits due to 6-foot social distancing guidelines:
    -CCPL: 60 patron maximum at one time and 60-minute browsing period limit
    -WBL: 12 patron maximum at one time and 60-minute browsing period limit
    -CCPL and WBL children’s access: children grade 6 and younger welcome when accompanied by an adult
    -CCPL and WBL Young Adult access: children in grades 7 through 12 are welcome
    -Meeting room use: meetings in CCPL Pioneer Rooms of 6 or less per room; meetings at WBL of 6 or less    
    -Computer use:
        --Adults: regular time allowances; one person per computer
        --Teens: two-hour time limit; one person per computer
        --Children: no access at this time
        --CCPL digitization station/microfilm computer available
        --CCPL News-Record and 2020 Census computer available
    -Copying,faxing and scanning services available
    -Notarizations available
    -CCPL study rooms available by appointment with two-hour time limit: one use in morning, one use in afternoon
    -Limited in-building, library-sponsored programs at CCPL and WBL

Library services available from home
    -CCPL general questions: 307.682.3223; technology and research questions: 307.687.0115
    -WBL general, technology, and reference questions: 307.464.0500
    -Curbside service (checkouts, faxing, scanning) available without entering libraries. Call your library for assistance.
    -Digital content (e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines, movies) available 24/7 from the library website
    -Limited outreach services provided on a case-by-case basis
    -Virtual programs (storytimes, book talks, etc.) available via social media and library website
    -Library material due dates extended and staggered
