Homesteading Craft Bags Available January 16th

Homesteading Craft Bags

Homesteading Fun!

As we kickoff 2021 here at the Campbell County Rockpile Museum, we are taking a look at homesteading in our region and those that homesteaded here in 1921 & 1922, which was the peak of homesteading in our region.

To start the fun, the staff of the Campbell County Rockpile Museum has gathered supplies for fun filled bags of Homesteading themed activities.   Children ages 5-12 will be able create some old-fashioned toys and artwork and participate in a related STEM challenge.

Starting on Saturday, January 16, 2021, stop by the museum to pick up the craft bags.  Children do not need to be present when picking up the bag.  Bags are available until they are all gone, so please grab yours early.

For additional information about programs and events at the Rockpile Museum, please call (307) 682-5723 or email

The Campbell County Rockpile Museum is located at 900 W. 2nd Street in Gillette, Wyoming.
