The Campbell County Rockpile Museum announces an exciting new way to explore the history of Campbell County and northeast Wyoming! The Museum has launched a new online database making their collections available and accessible to the public.
The Museum's diverse collections include photographs, objects, archives, and published materials. These items were once only available to those who visited the Museum in person, but are now accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Registrar Angela Beenken states that over 150 records are available as of January 1, 2017, and that new images will be added to the website on a regular basis. The online collection gives the opportunity to share the objects and images that help tell our community’s story to a local and worldwide audience.
The Museum will offer a presentation on the new Online Collections on January 11th at 10:00 a.m. which will give an overview of the features of the program and tips on use.
