National Prescription Drug Take Back Day April 29, 2017

Saturday April 29, 2017, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. the Campbell County Sheriff's Office and the Gillette Police Department will be collecting unwanted medications at the Public Health Parking Lot, 2301 S. 4 J Road.   

This is an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by providing free and anonymous safe disposal for potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted medications. Medications can be over the counter medications, new, expired or unused prescriptions . Medications that are unexpired, and factory sealed or blister packaged may be eligible for donation to the Wyoming Medication Donation Program. WMDP makes prescriptions available to low or no income patients. 

The medication take back event is held in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency, Wyoming and Campbell County Public Health, and the Prevention Management Organization. For any questions or comments please contact Bob Melvin at the Campbell County Sheriff's Office 687-6167.
