Rockpile Museum Hosts Events in Conjunction with Smithsonian Exhibit "The Way We Worked"

The Campbell County Rockpile Museum is hosting the following events in conjunction with the Smithsonian traveling exhibit The Way We Worked:

May 19, 2:00-4:00 pm Grand Opening: The Way We Worked Exhibition

May 23, 5:30-6:30 pm Artists Roundtable: Creative Work

  • Panel discussion by featured local artists
  • Location: Campbell County Rockpile Museum

June 1, 5:00-6:30 pm Wyoming Humanities Council Reception

  • Speaker: Sam Western, For the Good of Society at Large
  • Location: Campbell County Rockpile Museum

June 7, 7:00-8:00 pm Past, Present, Future of the Coal Mining Industry

  • Speaker: Jerry Tystad
  • Location: Campbell County Public Library Wyoming Room

June 12, 6:30-7:30 pm The History of Wyoming Game Wardens

  • Speaker: Dustin Kirsch, South Gillette Game Warden
  • Location: Campbell County Rockpile Museum

July 12, 7:00-8:00 pm Past, Present, Future with L & H Industrial

This exhibition was created by the National Archives and is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and state humanities councils nationwide.
