The Library Foundation Cupcake Wars

Saturday, April 13, 2019

The Library Foundation invites you to enjoy the 8th Annual Cupcake Wars! Bakers: 14 spots available; registration forms due Friday, April 5. Three competition divisions this year: experienced, amateur, and junior (18 and under).

The 8th Annual Library Foundation Cupcake Wars is Saturday, April 13 from 1:30 to 3 pm at Campbell County Public Library (CCPL) and is the final event in CCPL’s “Libraries = Strong Communities” National Library Week celebration.

Your libraries in Gillette and Wright are currently accepting baker registrations. There are a limited number of spots so bakers are encouraged to sign up early. This year's competition will feature three divisions: Experienced: a baker who sell baked goods to the public; Amateur: a great home baker who is comfortable in the kitchen; Junior: any baker under the age of 18. Individual or teams are allowed. Registration forms are available at your local library or on the library website: www.ccpls.org.

On April 13, the public is invited to CCPL and taste test a variety of locally made cupcakes. $5 at the door allows you taste cupcakes to your heart's content and vote for a favorite – favorite cupcake, favorite cupcake display. Prizes totaling $650 will be awarded, thanks to The Library Foundation Inc.

This event is one of a limited number of fundraising events sponsored by The Library Foundation Inc. The Foundation will use proceeds to support library staff development, literacy programs, the libraries' fine art collection and more... Join us for a sweet day of supporting your libraries.
