    Hands-on activities designed to encourage learning through play for children birth to 6 years will be available in the CCPL Children's Department during the month of January. Imaginative, constructive and exploratory play activities will be available from 9:30-11:30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm. Parents and caregivers will explore interactive resources with their children in the library play space.

  1. Junior High Boys Basketball Registration

    Register now for Junior High boys basketball. The emphasis is recreational and is based on developing basketball skills. Practices will begin Tuesday, January 15 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 pm at the Recreation Center. Contact Stephanie Stuber for more information.

  2. Annual Pass Sale

    January 1, 2019 - January 31, 2019 @ Campbell County Recreation Center and Wright Recreation Center

    The annual 15% Pass Sale in Gillette and Wright is going on January 1-31. Passes must be purchased in Gillette or Wright. A youth pass is for ages 3 years through 6th grade. Junior High/Senior High passes are for 7th grade through 18 years of age. Adults are 19 years of age and up. A couple pass is defined as two adults living in the same household. A family can include any college student through the age 23 with the proof of full time enrollment in school (12 credit hours or more.) The annual pass sale price for a Youth is $182, Jr/Sr High is $240, Adult is $330, Couple is $495 and a Family is $660.     The Campbell County Rockpile Museum is excited to welcome Campbell County High School graduate and University of Wyoming Master’s Candidate Lucas Fralick back to Gillette for his presentation “The Teapot Dome Scandal” on Thursday, January 10th at 7:00 p.m. The Teapot Dome Scandal of the 1920s defined a decade of extravagance and left a dark stain on President Warren Harding’s legacy. It shows the importance of Wyoming in our nation’s history and how tenacious Wyoming citizens would not allow their state to be exploited. This presentation will discuss the key players and events that shaped the scandal and its tragic outcome. Lucas Fralick is a Master’s Candidate of History at the University of Wyoming and specializes in 20th century American Politics and Policy, set to graduate the Spring of 2019. He graduated from Campbell County High School in 2012 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Black Hills State University in 2016.
