    January 17, 2019, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Campbell County Public Library

    Hands-on activities designed to encourage learning through play for children birth to 6 years will be available in the CCPL Children's Department during the month of January. Imaginative, constructive and exploratory play activities will be available from 9:30-11:30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm. Parents and caregivers will explore interactive resources with their children in the library play space.

  1. Annual Pass Sale

    January 1, 2019 - January 31, 2019 @ Campbell County Recreation Center and Wright Recreation Center

    The annual 15% Pass Sale in Gillette and Wright is going on January 1-31. Passes must be purchased in Gillette or Wright. A youth pass is for ages 3 years through 6th grade. Junior High/Senior High passes are for 7th grade through 18 years of age. Adults are 19 years of age and up. A couple pass is defined as two adults living in the same household. A family can include any college student through the age 23 with the proof of full time enrollment in school (12 credit hours or more.) The annual pass sale price for a Youth is $182, Jr/Sr High is $240, Adult is $330, Couple is $495 and a Family is $660.     Regular monthly meeting of the Rockpile Museum Association (RMA) board of directors. The RMA’s mission is to promote, support, and assist the Campbell County Rockpile Museum’s offerings of cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities by providing volunteer assistance and financial support. The RMA was formed in 1993, as a nonprofit organization. Its purpose is to assist in providing volunteers and finances for specific projects, including the improvement of the museum’s buildings and grounds, the purchase and preservation of its collections, and the presentation of programs, exhibitions, and events.

  2. "America in the Great War" Presentation and Discussion

    January 17, 2019, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Campbell County Rockpile Museum

    World War One ended on "the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" in 1918 with the signing of an armistice. A formal state of war between the two sides persisted for another seven months, until the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919. Join us 100 years later on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. as Gillette resident and military historian, Command Sgt. Major Greg Bennick (Ret.) will present his research and lead a discussion of America's role in the Great War and how it forever changed our country. This event is FREE and open to the public.
