"Great Plains: America’s Lingering Wild" • Tuesday, January 8, 6pm • In this documentary, photographer and conservationist Michael Forsberg examines what wildness remains in the Great Plains of North America.
Featuring brilliant and stunning imagery, Forsberg meets a host of dedicated people working to keep the wildness alive. The documentary is a co-production of NET Television and Michael Forsberg Photography.
The film is a companion to the exhibit "Great Plains: America’s Lingering Wild" on display in the CCPL atrium during January.

Hands-on activities designed to encourage learning through play for children birth to 6 years will be available in the CCPL Children's Department during the month of January. Imaginative, constructive and exploratory play activities will be available from 9:30-11:30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm. Parents and caregivers will explore interactive resources with their children in the library play space.

Join the Teen Card Club at Campbell County Public Library and learn to play Magic: The Gathering, as well as other games. Bring your own Magic deck to enjoy group play, or borrow some of the library’s loaner cards. This club meets Tuesdays, 4-6pm in the library Computer Lab.

Register now for Junior High boys basketball. The emphasis is recreational and is based on developing basketball skills. Practices will begin Tuesday, January 15 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 pm at the Recreation Center. Contact Stephanie Stuber for more information.

The annual 15% Pass Sale in Gillette and Wright is going on January 1-31. Passes must be purchased in Gillette or Wright. A youth pass is for ages 3 years through 6th grade. Junior High/Senior High passes are for 7th grade through 18 years of age. Adults are 19 years of age and up. A couple pass is defined as two adults living in the same household. A family can include any college student through the age 23 with the proof of full time enrollment in school (12 credit hours or more.) The annual pass sale price for a Youth is $182, Jr/Sr High is $240, Adult is $330, Couple is $495 and a Family is $660.
