    Three-session class • Saturdays: October 5, October 12, October 19; 10am-12pm (FULL) and 1-3pm (FULL) each Saturday Have you ever dreamed of turning yarn into something beautiful and exciting? Nancy Venable, CCPLS Extension Services Manager and craft enthusiast, will get you started in the wonderful world of crochet with a basic beginners project. Choose a project and purchase the following supplies (available at JoAnn’s and Walmart): Dishcloth: •size G or H crochet hook •skein of cotton yarn, any color (recommended: 4 oz. Lily Sugar ‘n Cream) Tri-braid scarf (pictured above): •size H or I crochet hook •tapestry or yarn needle •three coordinating colors of Red Heart acrylic yarn: 5 ounces minimum each (approximately 250 yards each) This free class is limited to eight participants in each section. Must be available for all three sessions. Call 687.0009 to sign up.

  1. CCPL Teen Open-Play Gaming

    October 5, 2019, 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM @ Campbell County Public Library

    The Campbell County Public Library Young Adult Department offers an Xbox and a Wii station for open-play gaming Saturday afternoons from 1:30-4pm during the school year, as well as school early-release afternoons. Gamers sign up for turns and cooperatively choose games from the library’s collection. Students in grades 7-12 are invited to join the fun!

  1. Youth Tennis Lessons

    August 26, 2019, 10:15 AM - October 7, 2019, 10:00 PM @ Campbell County Recreation Center

    Youth tennis lessons registration begins online only at 7 a.m. on August 27. Online and in person registration continues August 28 - October 7. Class times are 6 -7 p.m. for ages 5- 8 and 7-8 p.m. for ages 9-12. Lessons will be held on Mondays for 6 weeks and the cost per child is $20.00.   2. Junior High Girls Basketball Registration

    The girls' basketball league is designed to build on basic basketball skills and meet new friends while traveling to surrounding communities. Registration forms are available at school offices and at the Recreation Center. Bussing is provided after school. Practice begins Monday, October 28 and runs Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3 - 5:15 p.m.
