  1. Canned Food Drive

    November 4, 2019 - December 6, 2019 @ Campbell County Recreation Center

    Bring 5 canned food items on Mondays, win a free pass to the Recreation Center! Campbell County Parks and Recreation participates in the county wide food drive benefiting the Council of Community Services. This year if you bring in 5 canned food items or non perishable items on Mondays through December 6, you will be awarded a free pass to the Recreation Center. A couple would need to bring 10 to get two passes and if you bring 15 then you will receive a free family pass. If you want to participate, but don't want the free pass, we will accept donations all week during this time.

  2. Secret Santa Program

    November 5, 2019, 5:00 AM - December 16, 2019, 10:00 PM @ Campbell County Recreation Center

    The Secret Santa program allows the community to view and adopt letters to Santa from children who are less fortunate. Letters will be available to adopt beginning early November through mid-December. Children qualify for this program through an income verification process and then write a letter to Santa with their Christmas wishes. Santa letters are kept at the Recreation Center where you may read and choose from the children’s wishes and then shop for the child(ren) yourself. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, please stop by the control desk at the Recreation Center. For more information on this program, please call the Recreation Center at (307) 682-8527. The Secret Santa program is offered through a combined effort with the Council of Community Services and the Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department. It is through the generosity of our community that the spirit of the holidays come alive each and every season, we thank you for your continued support.

  3. Hockey Registration

    November 18, 2019, 5:00 AM - January 5, 2020, 6:00 PM @ Register at Campbell County Recreation Center, Program is held at Spirit Hall Ice Arena

    Campbell County Parks and Recreation is offering a Blades & Avalanche Hockey Program at the Spirit Hall Ice Arena for all youth ages 5-8 years old. The program is designed for all levels of participants to be able to learn the game of hockey and practice skills. All participants must show up fully dressed in hockey gear (including mouth guard) and ready to skate. Rental equipment will be available for an extra fee of $55. Rental equipment includes: Helmet with face mask, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, hockey pants, shin guards and skates. Session 2 Information Registration: November 18 - January 5 Session Dates: January 13 - March 4 Gear Hand Out: Wednesday, January 9 - At the Campbell County Ice Arena (Rockpile Ice Arena) @ 4 - 5:30 p.m. Practice Location: Spirit Hall Ice Arena Days: Mondays & Wednesdays Times: Ages 5 - 8 skate from 6:45 - 7:45 p.m.

  4. Learn to Skate Registration

    Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department offers Learn to Skate Lessons taught by the local Junior A Gillette Wild Hockey coaches and players. All children ages 4 and up are invited to participate. Whether you are a future figure skater, future hockey player or just want to enjoy open skate time safely, join our Learn to Skate program to learn to ice skate and have tons of fun. As skater's progress, instructors will automatically advance them through these levels.

    Drop your letter to Santa into the " Letter to Santa" mailbox at the WPA building by December 15, 2019. Our helpers will make sure that Santa gets a return letter mailed before Christmas. Please remember to put your return address on the envelope and Santa will send a letter back to you.

  1. History Pub at The Rockpile - 21st Amendment Day

    The Campbell County Rockpile Museum, Pizza Carrello, and Black Tooth Brewing invite you to join us on Thursday, December 5th for History Pub at The Rockpile to celebrate 21st Amendment Day, also known as Repeal Day. Come enjoy a taste of history and celebrate the passing of the 21st Amendment inside the Rockpile Museum Annex building where our bar exhibition is located. Prohibition-era attire is strongly encouraged! Social hour with Prohibition-era drinks and hors d'oeuvres by Pizza Carrello begins at 6:00 p.m. Sheridan Beer from Black Tooth Brewing will be featured. Then at 7:00 p.m., Mr. Mark Demple will present the history of his family's Sheridan Brewing Company as well as the history of Prohibition in Wyoming. Please join us for History Pub at The Rockpile.
