    The Campbell County Public Library Young Adult Department offers open-play gaming for teens in grades 7-12 Saturday afternoons from 1:30-4pm, as well as school early-release afternoons. Gamers sign up for turns, and cooperatively choose games from the library’s collection.

Recreation Center Calendar

  1. Registration for Boy's 4th - 6th Grade Basketball

    November 9, 2020 - December 1, 2020 @ Campbell County Recreation Center - Gillette

    The Campbell County Recreation is taking registration now through December 1 for boy’s 4th -6th grade basketball. The league provides an atmosphere of fun, friendly competition that allows youth to experience the joy of organized sports while promoting teamwork and good sportsmanship. The emphasis is recreational and is based on developing basketball skills. All participants will receive a jersey and the fee is $28 per participant. Coaches meeting will be held on Thursday, December 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center. Players will be contacted by coaches by December 21 and the season will begin January 9, 2021.

  2. 28th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Registration

    November 9, 2020, 5:00 AM - November 23, 2020, 10:00 PM @ Cam-Plex Park

    Campbell County Parks and Recreation will be sponsoring the 28th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thursday, November 26th at Cam-Plex Park. This event is open to all runners and walkers. There will be no race day registration. All runners and walkers must pre-register. Pre-registration will begin Sunday, November 1st and will continue through Monday, November 23rd at the Recreation Center. Race day check in will be held at the Cam-Plex Park Shop, next to the WPA Building. To limit the risk of COVID19 exposure, there will not be an official start time. Runners and walkers will be able to start once they check in between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. Entry fees for the Turkey Trot are $16 for a beanie hat and $7 without.
