On February 8, 1910, William Dickson Boyce filed papers of incorporation, and the Boy Scouts of America was born. Come to the Campbell County Rockpile Museum on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10am – 4pm to experience first hand the history and excitement that Scouting offers to Campbell County. To help commemorate the 110 years of scouting, there will be interactive stations set up both indoors and outdoors at the museum. Come wind, rain, sun, or snow this event will go on as that is all part of the fun. Stay as little or as long as you like at each station. Our stations are designed to meet some or all of the requirements of specific Merit Badges. Not a current scout? Don’t worry, this event is for all ages and abilities. Even “former” or “retired” scouts will enjoy taking part in these interactive experiences! Also, there will be members of the Greater Wyoming Council, Boy Scouts of America – East District here to help you find out more about joining Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts!
